Hope everyone had a great holiday season! I am just learning how to use this site. I have been posting replys all over the place. Thanks to Mark for setting this up! Yeah, I'm so glad the election crap is over. Now we have the financial crap! Where is our personal bail-out? Pretty crazy times. Anyway, Larry and I will continue to travel and have fun!

Our best moment was Machu Picchu but I have to say that the rafting trip with Team Awesome was Awesome!! We too loved the Pisco Sours! I guess I often think about the light in the sky. It was so pure and clear. Of course I won't even be thinking about how great the trip was if y'all hadn't been so much fun.

I'm just catching on to this site! Howdy everyone from Fredericksburg, Texas.
Larry and I have lived here for nine years. He is the County Auditor and I play golf and volunteer, oh yeah and, shop. Larry retired from Arco, now British Petroleum, in 1999. We had lived oversees for eight years - Jakarta, Indonesia, Tunis, Tunisia, and Caracas, Venezula. Before living overseas, we lived in Denver, Las Angeles, San Francisco, and Dallas. We have had a wonderful life. We have traveled all over and have usually gone on trips by ourselves. We thought we would try something different - take a tour! We took Adv. by Disney Arizona and Utah trip which was with kids. That was fun but we didn't really get to know the adults. So, for Peru we decided to take the Adult Only! What a difference! The first people we met were Dennis and Mike. They sat in the seats in front of us on the plane. Dennis saw me reading the Trip itinerary and we couldn't stop talking from that point on. Dennis and Mike, thanks for being so sweet when Larry had the tourista bug! We love meeting all of you! Come see us! Larry and Laura |

I finally am writing to all of you! This time of year is so busy, busy! Sorry to take so long to write. Larry and I could have stayed in Peru for a month! It was bitter sweet to be back home. I just want to tell everyone that we enjoyed being with y'all and would love to see y'all again on another trip. We have signed up for Adenture by Disney Ireland trip May 22 - 30, 2009.
! I think we are most excited about drinking fresh Guiness. We have been doing the usual stuff- Larry working and I've been golfing. We had a great holiday season. We took two other couples with us to Disney World Dec. 13-20. Had so much fun - eating, golfing, spa days, sun bathing, and park fun. We went to Mickeys Very Merry Xmas Party which was crazy - so many people!! I don't recommend it! Larry's glad I got that event out of my system. We will be back a Disney World March 3 - 10th , 2009. Let us know if y'all are there at that time! Hope everyone has a happy, healthy New Year! Laura Crump |

GUILTY!!! Sorry for the lack of love lately. I've been over-worked and constantly on travel. So I take it that Thanksgiving is going well??? I had guests come in from GA. Four additional kids to go along with my two. I can't begin to explain how exciting that was (can you smell the sarcasm?) Any-who, it's cold and I'm loving every bit of it. We need to make sure that we plan our trip to the UK soon. I may not have a job once this kid gets in office. I work for Missile Defense and that's one of the many areas of the military he wants to cut so let's get planning. Mark, where are you on this? We need to make sure to plan on visiting Scotland too. I want to walk around wearing a quilt in the highlands. I miss all of yuze guys and gals. Take care, happy holidays, and we'll talk soon...

Hello to EVERYONE from Long Beach, CA!
I had some trouble logging on to the site, but I finally made it. It's great to see so many of you on here! I, for one, am still having withdrawal symptoms from our trip. All I can do is think about the good times we had and how much I want to go back! Anyway, I have so many favorite moments from the trip it's impossible to name just one. I'm still amazed at how a group of 40+ could get along so well! I know it's been said many times before, but I'm grateful for meeting you all and for sharing such incredible memories together! Much love, Jenni |

Hello everyone-
Steve and I have been really busy getting back into the swing of things. For all of you who don't see the stress in Thanksgiving you must not cook for 17 people. Getting ready for Thanksgiving has taken up half of our time. Okay, mostly it has taken up my time. Steve is getting ready for flag football by playing PS3 . I still can't believe that I got to go to Peru and meet all of you. I so want to go back. Nothing exciting is happening in Michigan. If you follow college football and Michigan, you would really understand why ![]() Later- Gretchen |
